I'll Follow The Sun

This was the scene in the southwest sky (top image) and the west sky (bottom) just before 7:00 PM, CDT, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 as observed from the grounds at Noelridge Christian Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The top image shows a waxing crescent moon paired with the -4.23 magnitude planet Venus (right of tower). The bottom image captured crepuscular rays. Sunset was officially 6:34 PM.
