Flood Warning Posting

This sign, placed at the Riverside Walk trailhead in Zion National Park on Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2013, warns of possible flash flooding ahead. The Narrows, an area of the Virgin River situated between close canyon walls at the end of this trail, was inundated by continuous rain and was posted as being closed. Many hikers wade through the water there when the levels are low enough.
