From my Adobe Lightroom library surplus files: This image of an HP supercell was captured at 7:39 pm CDT from Highway 281 southeast of Spearman, Texas on May 16, 2016. The image was converted to black and white via Silver Efex Pro 2 and further tweaked in Adobe Photoshop.


The Quaker Oats plant is brilliantly illuminated along the Cedar River in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 9:28 pm CDT on July 4, 2016 before the Freedom Festival fireworks display commenced. Anchored boats in the river awaited the event.


Sunrise from West 129th Street South, just south of 102nd Avenue West, about one mile southwest of the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge Center, about 13 miles east of Des Moines, Iowa. Time was 6:31 am CDT. Official sunrise on this day was 6:13 am.


The following three images were all from June 15, 2017, but from different locations. This image looks west at 7:32 pm CDT from Railview Road near Paris Road, about a quarter mile west of Highway 13, and about 2.2 miles north of Central City in Linn County.
