Luminescent Layers

Illuminated by the setting sun, these stratocumulus undulatus formations graced the western sky on the evening of Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from Bowman Woods Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The clouds appeared over the park just prior to an outdoor concert performance by the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band, playing in the city for the 66th straight year.
