Tree Canopies From Effigy Mounds

Two views of different tree canopy tops along the Effigy Mounds National Monument trail on Thursday, September 18, 2014. The top image, shot at 2:09 PM CDT, shows the tops of a stand of quaking aspens. The bottom image, shot at 1:20 PM, looks up into sugar maples. Effigy Mounds is located in Allamakee County in NE Iowa.
