Beaming Before the Comet

While waiting for Comet NEOWISE to materialize somewhere in the northwest sky on the evening of Monday, July 13, 2020, the setting sun provided a spectacular array of beams stretching skyward--a treat in itself! This image is a panorama created from four separate shots, each a 1/5 second exposure at f/18, ISO 160 and 34mm focal length. Time was 9:04 pm CDT.
