The image above and the two below show an extensive altocumulus cloud formation during the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2019. The three images were captured from 6:18-6:24 pm CDT and look west over Bowman Woods Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The formation preceded showers in the area, which arrived a few hours later.
