Silo North Stars

The north sky late on the night of Friday, June 6, 2014 provided a mixture of stars and clouds as seen from Power Plant Road at Lents Bottom Road just north of Palo, Iowa around 11:16 PM CDT. Just above the grain silo seen above are stars of the constellation Cepheus. The bright star at upper left is the 1.96 magnitude Polaris (North Star). The bright star at upper left is the 1.25 magnitude Deneb. This image is a 20-second exposure at f/3.5, 2000 ISO and 18mm focal length.
